I'm a barista and coffee mentor with five years in specialty coffee and an avid coffee lover. About a year ago I made some big upgrades to my home setup and threw myself into trying as many new and different coffees as I could. What I found was that even with my background in specialty coffee, actually discovering great coffee to buy was oddly difficult. Browsing forums, clicking through roaster websites one by one, never quite sure what was worth ordering.

It's a lot of unnecessary friction for something that should just be fun.

I made Cupthat to fix that — a passion project for coffee lovers at every level, from the curious beginner to the deepest nerd. A place to discover coffees, log brews, rate bags, and follow roasters, where finding your next favourite bag is easy and enjoyable.
